Quynh Paris’ collection in Paris

Her collection is highly appreciated for material, shape, color and design ideas. International experts said that this collection has touched modern fashion trends in the world.
The organizing board also invited Quynh Paris to show off her old collection, named “Season change”. This fall-winter collection was introduced in Vietnam last March but experts said that it is still appropriate to the spring-summer trend this year. Returning from Paris, Quynh had a talk with VietNamNet.
What has remained after you return home from France?
That is the beginning, when my design idea has joined the orbit of and welcomed by the world fashion circles.
Is this trip a breakthrough in your career?
Not actually. I see this trip as a link of a chain in the process of creation and dedication to fashion. It is a nice stamp in the effort to bring Vietnam’s fashion to the world.
Did you face any difficulty in bringing your designs to this event?
Difficulty depends on the time (year), the character of the event that is fixed by the organizing board. This year the Prête À Porte Paris 2012-2013 focused on seeking fashion brands with new ideas to create new trends. Each fashion brand had to send drafts to the organizing board one year and had to complete their collections six months before the event.
So this is a success for you?
It is not wrong but not completely right to say that it is a success. It is temporarily considered as a buffer step for me to move further.
What is your future plan?
I’m an artist so I’m afraid to tell you about the future. I’m spending a lot of time to research and seek new ideas for upcoming collections. This must be a constant process because fashion is a circle. I’m a designer on fashion trend so fresh ideas are very important to me.
