The exhibition opened in the morning of January 20 at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long – Hanoi. This is a large-scale bonsai exhibition, held by the Thang Long Ornamental Plant Art and the Thang Long Hanoi Cultural Heritage Association.

The total number of plants in the exhibition is up to 1,500, contributed by ornamental tree clubs throughout the country.

Growing ornamental plants can be regarded as a profession of art. Beautiful perennials are taken care of and shaped for a long process by the gardener, with his aesthetic thinking and idea revealed through the tree shapes.

This exhibition will open until February to serve the people in the Lunar New Year 2013.
