Vietnam becomes Marvell's third-largest R&D centre globally
US-based Marvell Technology Inc. on September 30 officially inaugurated three new offices in Vietnam, making the country the group’s third-largest research and development (R&D) hub worldwide, with more than 500 engineers.
Only 20% of science/tech budget goes to research
The state has budgeted VND25 trillion more for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, but, in reality, 80 percent is spent on infrastructure and equipment procurement and only 20 percent on research.
