VietNamNet Bridge – On February 7, 2,500 Hanoian men joined the army. They were seen off by their girlfriends and their parents. Many people could not hold on tears.


The seeing-off ceremony of Hoan Kiem District took place at the square in front of the
Hanoi Opera House. Recruits saluted the colors.






Seventy young men of Hoan Kiem District joined the army this time. Recruits are divided
 into two groups. The first group joins regiment 2 in Lang Son province, near the Vietnam-China border.






The second group joins Brigade 205, communication arm.
