Among the performances by the Lao artists have been special dedications to honour President Ho Chi Minh and the Truong Son historical trail.
"The festival is a chance for us to learn about the different art forms of each country as well as other artistic skills so we can improve our [artistic] knowledge and our future performances," said a musician of a Lao art troupe.
According to the director of Cambodia's Art Performing Department, Mao Keng, the Cambodia Kingdom Art Troupe had presented 10 repertoires at the festival, in which the Dance of Angels epitomises the cultural and spiritual character of the Cambodian people.
"During the festival, we have leant more about the culture and the people of the three countries, which will benefit us very much in our performances. The festival has also taught us many practical experiences," he said.
The festival, which wrapped up yesterday, July 26, is expected to become an annual event between the three countries.
