Mau Don Do (Les Pivoines Rouge)

The Treasures of the Arts auction, which will be held at Caravelle Saigon hotel, has been jointly organised by Lythi Auction and Lac Viet Auction Joint Stock Company.

It includes works of arts with high starting bids, such as Vanity Fair by Indonesia painter Affandi (1907-1990), which is estimated at US$180,000 to $200,000, Vietnamese painter Le Pho’s (1907-2001) Mau Don Do (Les Pivoines Rouge) at $30,000 to $35,000 and Vietnamese artist Tran Dong Luong’s (1925-1993) Thieu Nu (Young Lady) at $22,000 to $27,000.

A representative of Lythi Auction said all the works of arts being auctioned have clear origins. The unique feature of the auction is that it will give art lovers a chance to view and possess a variety of artwork from different artistic styles and age.
