The streets that will become roads for pedestrians include the section from Le Hong Phong – Ong Ich Khiem intersection to the One Pillar Pagoda – Ba Huyen Thanh Quan intersection and Hung Vuong Street.

The Hanoi Department of Transport says that this plan will be implemented before the 122nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, May 19, under the instruction of Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

In late March, PM Nguyen Tan Dung ratified the plan to build a complex of hotel and service works for state and government agencies inside the Ba Dinh political center, at 6-8 Chu Van An and 37 Hung Vuong. The complex will have 600 hotel rooms.
