Readers of renowned British travel site Rough Guides have voted Vietnam as one of the 20 most-beautiful countries in the world.

An article on the site, www.roughguides.com, recommends that those with a passion for traveling and adventure tours drop by Vietnam, which it noted has been ranked the world’s seventh-fastest growing travel destination by the United Nations’ World Tourism Organization.

The article praised the astonishing rock formations in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay and the endless beauty of terraced rice fields in the mystical mountain town of Sapa,  in the northern province of Lao Cai.

Travelers should not miss these priceless natural treasures, Rough Guides said.
