The 2018 event was cancelled due to road construction that prevented athletes from running.

The 25th edition will be held on January 6 with the participation of many strong runners. They will compete in 18 categories for both professional and amateur athletes.

Favourites Do Quoc Luat and Bui The Anh of the Military will vie for the title in the men’s professional 7.7km event while Le Thi Thoa, also of the Military will eye the women’s professional 5.4km class.

Last year more than 700 athletes ran in the event.
