Those Vietnamese expelled this time belonged to two camps, including 15 people in the makeshift tents at No. 8, Irtyski Proezd 2 street, Golyanovo District in east Moscow and 9 people from the detention center No. 182 Dimitrovskoye Shosse, where Vietnamese in Russia often call Red River Camp.

This is the second deportation of illegal workers conducted by the Russian authorities after the crackdown, codenamed "illegal immigrants." The first deportation was on August 10, including 31 Vietnamese.

According to initial information, in the raids called "illegal immigrants" on July 31, Russian police detained more than 1,000 overseas people in garment factories at a market in eastern Moscow. Among them, there were nearly 600 Vietnamese.

These people were then in custody in the canvas tents in Eastern District of Moscow. They have been assisted by the Embassy of Vietnam in Russia as well as the community of Vietnamese in Russia.

However, in the latest report, Itar-Tass quoted the Interior Department of Moscow as saying that in the "illegal immigrants" campaign, the Moscow police and the immigration agency arrested 1,800 people.

The law enforcement body also decided to prosecute 68 criminal cases on charges of making "fake documents" and 13 cases on charges of "organizing illegal immigration."
