Two weeks before the Lunar New Year (Tet holiday), Sa Dec flower village in Dong Thap Province has become a tourist hotspot.

The Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap is expected to increase its flower and ornamental plant output to VND4.14 trillion (US$178 million) worth this year, up three times from 2015,  according to its Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Farmers in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta region are expected to have a good flower and ornamental plant harvest, as well as good prices, for the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, which falls on January 25.
