Progress over heritage in HCM City

VietNamNet Bridge – Demolition work on the Sai Gon Tax Trade Centre, built by the French 135 years ago, began yesterday in HCM City to make way for a 40-storey office and hotel tower and the first metro subway route. 

French-era architecture to be saved

 VietNamNet Bridge – Architectural features of the more than 100-year-old Sai Gon Tax Trade Centre will be preserved when the centre is torn down to build a metro line and a 40-storey office and hotel complex.
