VietNamNet Bridge – The Saigon International Music Week featuring four shows of international and Vietnamese artists will kick off at Cargo Bar on November 26.

The event will open with a performance of the UK-based indie pop band The Vaccines, whose debut album, What Did You Expect from The Vaccines?, in 2011 was the biggest-selling debut by a UK artist.

The second show on November 26, which has free admission, will include Black Infinity and WhiteNoiz, two popular rock bands among HCM City rock fans.

The December 2 concert will highlight American pop band The Lemonhead, which is fronted by Evan Dando.

The music week will end with performances from Australian indie and dance band Jagwar Ma on December 4. Formed in 2011, the band is currently on its Howling tour and preparing for a second album.

The shows will begin at 7.30pm at 7 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in District 4.
