VietNamNet Bridge - After a collision with a motorcycle driving by a Danish man, which killed the victim, a 4-seat car fled. The police are studying the tape recorded by the cameras inside Saigon’s Thu Thiem tunnel to find the car.

According to the HCM City traffic police, the accident occurred at 1.25pm on November 7 on the road leading to Thu Thiem Tunnel in District 2, HCM City between a red car and a motorcycle controlled by Mr. Walther Bilde, 51.

After the accident, the car fled and Bilde was seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital but did not survive.

The police took the information of a number of witnesses and seized the tape from the camera system in Thu Thiem Tunnel to serve the investigation.

In the latest news, a 22-year-old man has just given himself up to the police as the driver of the car in the accident.

According to the police, he is an overseas Vietnamese student who returned home recently.

Saigon police rescue Korean girl who intentionally commits suicide.

On November 8, guards of the Phu My Hung urban area in District 7, HCM City discovered a Korean girl standing on the window on the 4th floor of a hotel screaming and intending to jump down.

Dozens of fire-fighting police officers were sent to the scene. They prepared an air cushion in case the girl jumped. 

The police tried to talk to the Korean girl but she continued sitting on the window. 

More than an hour later, thanks to the help of a foreign couple who persuaded the girl to leave the dangerous position, the girl retreated into the room. 

The police immediately rushed into the room to control the girl. But after the girl was taken out of the dangerous position, she ran out to hit a running car. It was very hard for the police to prevent the girl from committing suicide.

According to the police, this girl entered Vietnam and rented a room at this hotel a day before.
