More than 60 machines have been placed on the pavement of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa roads along Nhieu Loc Canal in the districts of 1, 3, Phu Nhuan, and Binh Thanh.

The first phase of the project to improve the environment of Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe has been completed. The area has become a spacious park with a healthy environment.

Over VND700 million ($35,000) was used to purchase the equipment.

The exercise machines are located in 10 locations in District 1, District 3, Phu Nhuan, Binh Thanh and Tan Binh.

Local residents are very excited about the new exercise machines.

Ms. Thanh said she can save time in the morning because the machines are nearby.

The machines are modern, with detailed instructions.

Both young and old feel comfortable working out.

In the morning and afternoon, hundreds of people do exercise and have fun on the canal banks.

Many people consider Nhieu Loc, which previously was seriously polluted, as the green lung of the city.
