Technically opened in HCM City on July 23, the Central Park is located in Tan Cang area in Binh Thanh District, close to the Saigon River. This is the largest riverside park is in the city.

The VND500 billion park is designed based on the famous Central Park of New York. It consists of 40 works items of services to the people such as a Japanese-styled garden, a fountain, children’s playground and a picnic area.

The park is a part of Vingroup’s apartment complex with the highlight being the highest skyscraper in Vietnam, the 81-story Landmark apartment.

The park is expected to create a green living space in the heart of the city and provide a healthy, pure environment for the public to relax, play and entertain.

On the occasion, a food and culture festival opened at the park, attracting the participation of about 12,000 invited guests.

Ms. My Linh, who has visited parks in the world, said the new park was not inferior to foreign parks. “I’m impressed," she said.
