Some words from Mr. Dakhil A.R. Al Johani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Vietnam on the occasion of the 85th Anniversary of the country's National Day.

The celebration of the anniversary of the National Day is considered a precious and joyful occasion for us to contemplate, think and take lessons from those special stations in our glorious history.

We remember King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who managed with foresight of leader and courage of knight to bring this nation together in one cohesive and monolithic entity blessed with security, stability and peace.

This anniversary is an occasion for the attitudes, lessons and granting, which tell the story of a noble past, build a prosperous present and look forward to a bright and promising future.

The ceremony this year comes in the context that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to achieve qualitative shifts in its development, reflected in the remarkable aspects of the economic prosperity and huge leaps in development on all levels.

This event comes in the context that the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Arab, Islamic and international domains increases firmly and importantly in various political and economic fields. The Kingdom enjoys relations of friendship and mutual respect with all countries in the world.

The honoring of the National Day this year takes place in a significant period in the history of the region and the world amid extreme difficulties and accelerated events in local, Arab and international circumstances.

Despite such circumstances, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its development for further achievements for the nation and its citizens in order to solve crises and preserve gains.

If the nations and people have some glorious days in history, the National Day of our beloved country is a history by itself, reflecting a long way fought by the late founder King Abdul Aziz Al Saud - may Allah rest his soul - and our heroic ancestors  – may Allah have mercy upon them - for the sake of strengthening the pillars of this entity and its unification.

The National Day is a cherished occasion that occurs every year, in which we continue on the path of the country's giant development in all fields and in a remarkable period to be among the developed and distinguished countries.

We celebrate the anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while the bilateral relation with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam enjoys further development and progress in all fields, which contributes to achieve targets and ambitions of the two leaderships and their people.

The relation between two countries is going towards the preset goals and targets to achieve ambitions and aspirations of the both governments and their people. 

I ask Allah Almighty to perpetuate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia blessings of security, development and stability.
