Le Minh Nhat, a Hanoi University of Education new graduate, has just found a job at an information technology firm.  He is satisfied with the new job with the expected monthly salary of VND5 million for the probation 3-month period and promised job promotion opportunities.

Nhat said it took him only half a month to find the job. After attending the university graduation exam in early June, he began searching job information news on Internet and applied for suitable positions.

“All you have to do is to turn on your computer and access to well known job websites. You’ll be able to find the job opportunities that fit your capability and aspiration. And then apply for the jobs and wait for examinations or interviews,” he said.

“You don’t have to go anywhere to look for jobs. Especially, you don’t have to go to have your degrees and certificates notarized. You just need to send a CV to the employers. If you are the right candidate they want, they would contact you,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Ngan, a Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanity’s graduate, feels worried about if her CVs can reach out to the employers. Ngan has applied for jobs to some enterprises, but she has not got any reply. She is afraid that her CV might have been ignored by the irresponsibility of the enterprises’ personnel division.

However, Nhat has denied the possibility, affirming that all the applications would be considered thoroughly by the companies’ personnel staff. He thinks that Ngan has not received any replies just because she is not the suitable candidate to the companies.

“Personnel officers work in a professional way. They would prefer working on Internet via mail to meeting candidates face to face, because they don’t have much time do meet all of the candidates,” he explained, affirming that seeking and offering jobs on Internet is the best way for both workers and recruiters in the information era.

In order to heighten the recruitment efficiency, job websites’ administrators not only post ad pieces on their official websites, but also support clients to post information on associated websites or job forums and Facebook fanpage.

www.TimViecNhanh.com proves to be the first company which applied this method in Vietnam with its network of 400 websites, forums and more than 1 million members on Facebook fanpage.

Hoang Le Phuong Thao, Director of In Ky Thuat So, www.InKyThuatSo.com, also said that she tends to seek workers via Internet nowadays. The company usually uses the services of TimViecNhanh because the website allows finding candidates most quickly.

Thao said she has found an accountant just after 1-2 days she posted the job vacancy news on TimViecNhanh.

In general, job websites have their divisions in charge of shortlisting the CVs sent to them before introducing the candidates to the employers. This allows employers to find suitable candidates more quickly.

Le Minh Nhat, General Director of VINADesign - www.VINADesign.vn, said 100 percent of his workers have been found via Internet.

“With the method, we can check the information about the candidates on Internet and their products before we meet them for interview. This allows us to save time and costs,” Nhat said.
