Vietnamobile unveils new promotional offers
Vietnamobile has launched its low – cost Biz 30 on-net package which costs VND30,000 (US$1.55) for unlimited voice calls per month.
The network operator also unveiled its low-cost, "2 in 1" Maxi Talk Plus plan which offers customers online tariffs of 14 dong/minute and an offline rate of 990 dong/minute.
VinaPhone debuts multi-language operator service

VinaPhone's 9192 operator service is the first in Viet Nam to offer this service to foreign clients and roaming mobiphone users in the four most common languages in the country today.
If foreign VinaPhone users have any questions or service requests they may dial 9192 to reach an operator. Callers will be directed to an operator who speaks English, Chinese, Korean or Japanese by pressing 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Apple stores give away social networking application
Top-rated social networking application Zing Me is currently being offered for free at Apple Stores throughout Viet Nam, announced VinaGame company.
Users of smart devices like iPhone, Ipad and iPod Touch can download applications from the Zing Me website.
Vuong Quang Khai, deputy general director of VinaGame which is responsible for managing Zing Me social networking, said the launch of Zing Me on iPhone will be the first step toward debuting new Zing Me versions in the near future.
The company expects to launch a specialised versions for different operating systems such as Android (Google), Bada (Samsung), Symbian (Nokia).
HCM City all set for Technology Business Seminar
Technology Business Seminar 2010 will take place in HCM City from October 13-14.
The Strategic Alliance Vietnamese Ventures International (SAVVi), IDG Venture Viet Nam and DFJ Vinacapital will co-ordinate to hold the seminar.
The conference is expected to attract world renown IT groups such as Yahoo, Google, Southeast Asian IBM, Jones Day, Cisco, Tencent and Morgan Stanley.

Kaspersky discusses antivirus co-operation
Viet Nam is in the process of building a national policy for information security on the Internet and welcomes all international co-operation in the field, a senior official said last week.
Deputy Minister of Information and Telecommunications, Le Nam Thang, told Natalya Kaspersky, chairwoman of the Kaspersky antivirus software company, that Viet Nam supports all internet-security firms in doing business in the country.
Kaspersky said her company was willing to share information on Internet security with Viet Nam and also provide training in the field.
According to the company, Viet Nam ranked sixth last year in the list of countries facing Internet attacks. This year, it has been ranked fifth after China, Russia, India and the US.
