Around noon on September 21, a group of four friends from Lam Dong province visited Phuoc Dinh beach in Ninh Thuan for sightseeing and photography. The area, known for its large waves crashing against rocky shores, is a popular spot for tourists despite the inherent dangers.

While taking photos, C.D.D., 25, slipped and fell into the sea, where strong waves quickly pulled him away. The group searched for him around the area but found no trace and immediately sought assistance from local authorities.

A search operation was launched, involving local authorities, the Border Guard, and over 20 members of Brigade 5 Water Special Forces stationed in Ninh Thuan, who have been diving and scouring the area for the missing tourist.

The missing tourist is described as 1.50m tall, weighing approximately 60kg, with short black hair and a mole 1cm to the right of his lip. He was last seen wearing a green-and-white striped shirt and black shorts.

As of now, search efforts continue, but the tourist has not yet been found.
