Hanoi, Vietnam is the first stop in the world tour marking the 30th anniversary of Secret Garden’s founding. "Secret Garden Live in Vietnam" is part of the international community music project "Good Morning Vietnam," initiated by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam. The initiative aims to bring world-class music to Vietnamese audiences while promoting Vietnam’s cultural and historical values to the world. Following legendary saxophonist Kenny G and the Bond string quartet, Secret Garden takes center stage in the third edition of the "Good Morning Vietnam" series.

The organizers welcomed the artists with flowers at the airport that afternoon.

Although the duo rarely go on tour, Fionnuala Sherry and Rolf Løvland expressed their excitement and enthusiasm as they visited Vietnam for the first time to perform as part of their global tour. Both artists wore simple yet striking outfits and appeared very friendly and joyful upon arrival.

Tony Nguyen, Director of International Relations at IB Group Vietnam, was present to welcome the artists at the airport. The organizers brought hand-painted Vietnamese conical hats featuring images of local landmarks and natural scenery, along with the event name "Secret Garden Live in Vietnam" to present to the duo.

In addition to Fionnuala Sherry and Rolf Løvland, the entire string orchestra also accompanied the group to Vietnam. The organizers thoughtfully gifted handcrafted conical hats to each orchestra member as well, which delighted the European artists.

The artists were excited to receive the uniquely Vietnamese gift upon their arrival in Hanoi.

Artist Rolf Løvland enthusiastically shared, “We are very much looking forward to our upcoming performances in Vietnam. We have never been here before, so we are truly thrilled.”

Immediately after arriving, the artists were taken to a luxury hotel in Hanoi to rest and prepare for the press conference on the morning of October 17, as well as rehearsals and the concert itself.

According to the organizing committee, the stage for "Secret Garden Live in Vietnam" will be one of the largest and most visually stunning in the group’s history.

Secret Garden is expected to perform around 30 pieces spanning their 30-year career. Their timeless compositions will be presented on a magical stage, celebrating storytelling through emotional sounds and romantic melodies, harmonized in a blend of classical and Nordic-Celtic folk styles. This musical experience will be brought to life in the autumn ambiance of Hanoi.

While the full setlist remains under wraps to surprise concertgoers, Vietnamese fans will undoubtedly enjoy live renditions of Secret Garden’s iconic pieces, including "Songs From A Secret Garden" – the classic track that served as the title theme of their debut album released exactly 30 years ago.

As is customary, after the concert, the two artists will participate in a poster-signing session for fans.

"Secret Garden Live in Vietnam" will take place at 7:30 PM on October 18 at the National Convention Center in Hanoi. This event is part of the annual international community music project "Good Morning Vietnam" launched by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam.
