Artists from different backgrounds joined forces with a Parisienne digital group to create La Joie, an augmented reality, or AR, exhibition in which technology and tradition combine to offer viewers new sensory experience.

To see the exclusive artwork, visitors must download a mobile application and point their cameras toward the canvases to see them come alive on their smartphone screens.

An exhibit goer told Vietnam News Agency's reporters: "Coming here I was impressed with the layout of the exhibition. The graphic design is also colourful. And what impressed me most is that after downloading the app, all the objects, sounds and movements run very smoothly. Such a satiety."

Meanwhile, another exhibit goer expressed her delight for the lively painting. She said the colour of each painting was very bright. The harmonious combination of the colours and movements of the objects in each painting brings along the joyful atmosphere, just like the title of the exhibition: “Le Joie” – happiness, she added.

The exhibition is taking place at L’espace Hanoi, 24 Trang Tien street and lasts until March 11.-VNA
