Shane Filan, former lead-vocal of Ireland’s famous boy band Westlife, will stage a one-night concert at the Lan Anh Music Center in HCMC’s District 10 this Sunday as part of his “Love Always Tour” to Asia.

This will be the second performance of the 38-year-old in the country on his Asia tour after his first visit in 2014 to promote his debut solo album “You and Me”.

In a video clip posted on his Facebook’s fanpage last May, Filan announced his official performance tour to HCMC on July 16 to introduce his latest album “Love Always” to local fans and music lovers.

During his upcoming show, the Irish singer/songwriter will perform Westlife’s greatest hits aside from beautiful songs from the new album.

Established in 1998 with five members Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Feehily, Shane Filan and Brian McFadden, Westlife soon became one of the leading boy bands in Europe with wonderful ballads such as Flying without Wings, Seasons in the Sun, My Love and I Lay My Love on You.

After the band announced its split five years ago, Shane Filan followed his solo career. Filan struggled with adifficult time in 2012 due to a debt of 18 million pounds from the collapse of the real estate market in his country.

Fortunately, thanks to his strong will, Filan has been back to the music industry by joining in a reality show and recorded his solo album You and Me which was ranked third in Ireland’s music chart and sixth in the U.K. chart. His most popular song to the Vietnamese audience is Beautiful in White.
