Shark Tank Vietnam, the Vietnamese adaptation of the globally renowned Shark Tank series, centers on entrepreneurs pitching their business ideas to a panel of investors, known as "sharks."

Since its debut in Vietnam in 2017, the show has introduced 291 business models to investors and successfully secured funding for 174 ventures. More than 60 startups have received investments both during and after their appearances on the show.

The upcoming season will see the return of familiar faces:

- Shark Nguyen Hoa Binh (Shark Binh): Chairman of NextTech

- Shark Pham Thanh Hung (Shark Hung): Vice Chairman of Cen Group

- Shark Bui Quang Minh (Shark Minh Beta): Chairman of Beta Group

Joining the returning sharks are four new sharks:

- Shark Nguyen Phi Van: Chairman of Go Global Franchise Fund, which invests in startups and SMEs in the franchising and licensing sector.

- Shark Le My Nga: Chairman of Weangels Capital, an investment fund.

- Shark Nguyen Van Thai: Co-founder & Vice Chairman of Thai Huong Group.

- Shark Tillman Schulz: An entrepreneur from MDS Group, a large multi-sector corporation based in Germany.

Shark Tank Vietnam Season 7, produced by VTV Digital and TV Hub, will air every Monday at 8:30 PM on VTV3, starting from July 29, 2024.

In addition to providing a platform for startups to secure investment, Shark Tank Vietnam has become a launchpad for these businesses to reach an audience of 39 million TV viewers and tens of millions of consumers on digital platforms. Many startups have seen significant increases in revenue, profit, customer base, and online engagement following their appearances on the show.

According to Shark Tank representatives, as Vietnam's economy shows signs of recovery, Season 7 aims to connect Vietnamese startups with both domestic and international investors. The goal is to help Vietnamese products and intellectual property reach global markets.
