Depicting activities and events of daily life in an absurd world, this series of oil and watercolor paintings presents immersive environments with droll juxtapositions that cleverly allude to cultural realities, social conflicts, complexities of civic development and individual responsibility in today’s Vietnam.

Focusing on the visual relationships of disjointed elements and unusual scales, with “The Age after Divinity”, Hung wants to convey his wry sense of humor and bring viewers to a world in which everything is made bare through his biting irony.

The showcase will be launched on July 6, 2018 at Manzi Art Space, 14 Phan Huy Ich Street, Hanoi City. It lasts until August 6, 2018.

Admission to “The Age after Divinity” is free. The event is part of Manzi’s art program supported by the Danish Embassy.
