This year, Ha Phuong - who is known as Vietnamese American Chinh Chu’s wife – has attended many large entertainment events at home and abroad. After attracting attention at the 2022 Golden Kite Film Festival in Vietnam, she became a member of AWFF Honorary Board, an award announcer, and a performer at this event.

The AWFF is an annual film festival held in Los Angeles (USA) to honor Asian movies as well as strengthen the link between the Asian film industry and Hollywood.

“Honestly, I’m very proud to become a member of the AWFF Honorary Board this year. This is a very prestigious film festival. I hope to join the jury to find valuable movies and talented actors," Ha Phuong said.

At the AWFF award ceremony, she performed a Vietnamese song by Minh Vy, entitled “Vong Co Buon” (Sad vong co song), supported by two Vietnamese artists Thai San and Tran Sang. The Vietnamese-American singer was invited to announce and award the Best Movie Awards for “The Last Film Show” by Indian Director Pan Nalin. However, because of an incident at the last minute, she could not fulfill this role as planned. She apologized to director Pan Nalin.

Singer Ha Phuong was also honored to represent the Vietnamese crew to receive the Humanitarian Heart Cup - a symbol honoring humanity in the movie Kieu @ by Do Thanh An. 

At the event, she met many stars, including Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu, martial arts star Andy Cheng and actress Lucy Liu.

"As an honored guest at the Asia World Film Festival, I can exchange and learn from world-famous filmmakers, directors and actors. I hope to have the opportunity to cooperate with such talented people in my future projects,” Ha Phuong said.
