The bodies were discovered after hundreds of soldiers and local residents were mobilised to search for victims of the accident.

The victims, including two children, were identified as members of two families from Dai Cuong Commune, Dai Loc District.

Following initial investigations, the boat, carrying 10 people on the way home after finishing farm work, suddenly overturned on Tuesday. Four people were successfully saved.
