USS Preble (DDG-88) is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer in the United States Navy.
It anchors offshore Da Nang City. The ship was commissioned November 9, 2002,
at the Commonwealth Pier/World Trade Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
At her commissioning ceremony USS Preble was docked bow to bow with USS
Constitution, the command of her namesake, Commodore Edward Preble.

The ship is equipped with Mk 41 vertical launch systems,
96 RIM-66 SM-2, RIM-162 ESSM, BGM-109 Tomahawk, or RUM-139 VL-Asroc missiles.
