The bodies were found with their throats slit when workers of Quoc Anh Wood Processing Company went at 6am to the villa – which was also the owner's house and the company headquarters – in Minh Hung Commune, Chon Thanh District.
Quoc Anh, 47, the owner, his wife Nguyen Thi Anh Nga, and their two sons and two nephews were the victims.
Five of them were killed inside the house and a little boy was found near the fence.
The house is in a crowded residential area along National Highway No 13 near the Minh Hung – South Korea Industrial Park. Around 100 workers are employed there.
Anh, who owned one of the biggest wood processing companies in the province, was famous for his wealth.
The police and local authorities have cordoned off the site and are investigating.
