At around 11pm, passers-by saw columns of smoke rose from Vietnam’s highest building. Smoke came from the 65th floor.
Around 15 minutes later, three fire and staircase trucks were sent to the site. However, the staircase truck could not reach the 65th storey so it left. The building’s guards did not allow correspondents to approach the scene.
Smoke still emitted at the site at 12am but the intensity reduced. The reason has not been released yet.
