All participants told reporters that the tour was a "unique" one in their lives, a special experience in a place with an unreal beauty.

They said they will promote the image of Son Doong cave to their friends, families and the world.

Walking out from Son Doong cave, where his cell phone could work again, Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau, who launched the idea of organizing this exploration tour for foreign ambassadors in Vietnam, wrote on his personal Facebook page that this was "an emotional journey".

“We wore traditional costumes, saluted the flags and sang the National Anthems at the deepest place under the ground ...,” he wrote.

US Assistant Secretary of State Tom Malinowski said that  this was an amazing trip and thanked Quang Binh people and government for conserving Son Doong for future generations. He said tourists around the world will come to admire the beauty and popularity of Son Doong.
