Seven people were killed and four were missing following floods triggered by Typhoon Kujira in Thuan Chau and Yen Chau Districts in the northern mountainous Son La Province.
A high wave up to 3 metres hit the Do Son Beach in northern Hai Phong Province due to the storm.

The National Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control released the updated information this morning.
The storm also damaged 23 local houses and destroyed more than 80ha of crops in Son La Province.
The highest rainfall recorded last night was 219mm in Son La and 152mm in Ha Noi's Ba Vi District, the centre said.
The National Centre for Hydro-Meteorology Forecasting said the storm had weakened as a tropical low-pressure system early this morning and was moving westward at 10km per hour.
The forecast said the northern provinces would continue to receive torrential rains. The mountainous provinces have been put on high alert for flash floods and landslides.
