VietNamNet Bridge - Song Seung Hun and Kim Tae Hee arrived in Hanoi on January 6, to promote their latest drama “My Princess” and join a charity event.

Korean movie stars do charity in Vietnam



The stars gave their first press conference at Daewoo Hotel at 5 pm on the same day, which wrapped up after 45 minutes so that they could have time to rest.

Song Seung Hun said Vietnamese food was his favorite and it was well-known in Korea.
“I tried Vietnamese pho and spring rolls in Korean. This time I want to try the real pho to see whether it is different from the one in my country,” he said.

For Kim Tae Hee, who is considered one of South Korea’s most beautiful actresses, said she really liked Vietnamese ao dai when one fan asked her about the traditional dress she gave her 3 years ago.

“I changed my management company at the time so maybe that was why I couldn’t receive your present. I’ll ask the company when I go back and will wear it right away,” she told the fan.

“My short stay in Vietnam would not allow me to visit many of your country’s beautiful sites but I would love to visit Hue the next time I come,” she added.



For the most part of the conference, the pair talked about the making of My Princess in which Kim Tae Hee plays a commoner who finds out she is the princess of a lost Korean dynasty.

Song Seung Hun gave his best compliments to his co-star, saying working with such a beautiful and famous actress as Kim Tae Hee was the dream of many Korean actors.

On January 7, they participated in an auction to raise fund for disadvantaged children. Song Seung Hun’s teddy bear was sold to a Hanoian man at the price of $1,900. Kim Tae Hee’s pair of shoes was auctioned sold for $1,500.

The auction had the presence of pop star My Tam and actress Ngo Thanh Van. The fund will be transferred to the National Fund for Vietnamese Children of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Kim Tae Hee left Vietnam on January 8 while Song Seung Hun flew to HCM City and left Vietnam on January 11.
