The team from the archipelago defeated their African opponents 1-0, continuing to demonstrate the significant progress they have made in recent years.

The only goal of the match came in the 12th minute. After being set up by R. Oratmangoen, O. Romeny finished clinically to give Indonesia the lead. Following the breakthrough, the Southeast Asian side remained disciplined and organized, maintaining their concentration to protect the narrow advantage until the final whistle.

The result was widely regarded as an upset, with Mozambique ranked 102nd in the FIFA rankings - 16 places above Indonesia, who sit 118th in the world. Defeating a higher-ranked opponent will boost Indonesia's confidence and further underline the team's ambition to establish itself as a rising force in Asian football.

Cambodia also made a strong statement during the international window. Ranked 175th in the world, they secured an impressive 2-0 victory over Hong Kong (China), who are currently ranked 155th. The result represents a significant achievement for Cambodian football.

Meanwhile, Thailand spent much of their friendly against China under pressure but managed to secure a goalless draw against the stronger opponent.

In another match, the Philippines produced a dominant display to defeat Myanmar 5-1.
