VietNamNet Bridge – The Thien An Vien Cemetery Park will be built on 118 hectares in Vinh Phuc province, at the cost of nearly VND1.5 trillion ($71.4 million).

The authorities of Vinh Phuc province have just licenced this project, which will be located in Khai Quang ward and Kim Long commune.

As planned, the cemetery park will be divided into five zones: grave zone, park area, spiritual zone, water and tree zone, and administrative and technical service zone.

The incinerators will be built on 2,050m2 area, using Swedish technology, the most advanced electric furnace at present. A modern funeral home will be built on an area of 480m2.

Once the project is completed, it will become the largest cemetery park in Southeast Asia. The largest one now is Lac Hong Vien Cemetery Park in Ky Son district, Hoa Binh province, about 50 km from Hanoi, with an area of nearly 100 hectares, situated on nine hills.
