VietNamNet Bridge – The Spanish Cultural Week in HCMC opened yesterday, Nov 19, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Spain.
The cultural week, which runs until November 25, includes a film festival, guitar gala and photographic exhibition organized by the Embassy of Spain.
Spanish films will be screened at 6:30 p.m. from Moday until Friday at Fafilm Cinema, 6 Thai Van Lung Street in District 1 and they are - Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios, La Lenguade las mariposas, Los lunes al Sol, Muerte de un ciclista and El Orfanato.
Tickets can be collected until Friday at Jaleo-Escuela De Espanol, 38 Hoa Su Street in Phu Nhuan District from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
There will be a guitar show called ‘Fire and Passion’ by guitarist Hang Nguyen and pianist Ly Giai Thoa at the Opera House at 7 p.m. on Wednesday with a limited number of tickets available to be collected only on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Department of Spanish Linguistics and Literature USSH at the HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 10 -12 Dinh Tien Hoang Street in District 1.
Meanwhile, the Spanish photography exhibition will be held at 120 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street in District 3. The exhibition, organized by the Embassy of Spain and Vietnam-Spain Friendship Association, will run until Sunday.
