A capsule hotel was inaugurated in Nha Trang in late October. Hotels Asia Home launched the Asia Hotel in late October, the first of its kind in Nha Trang.

The capsules are designed as spacecrafts, using steel and ABS plastic structure, which are luxurious, comfortable, and modern.

The hotel offers 56 small bedrooms with an area of approximately 2 m2. Each capsule is for a person, equipped with a television, air conditioner, safety box, wifi service and firefighting equipment inside.

This kind of bedrooms are suitable for backpackers or those on business frequently. In November, the charge will be discounted 20%.

There is also a capsule hotel on Bui Vien Street, District 1, HCM City, named Hong Kong Kaiteki, which is also the first capsule hotel in Vietnam.

With six floors built on about 60 m2 of surface, the hotel has 60 bedrooms. The area of each room is 2.5 m2, enough for a person to sleep. The charge for one night is VND175,000 ($8).
