A Vietnamese delegation has arrived in the Republic of Korea (RoK) to participate in the World Martial Arts Festival from September 6-13.

The event involves martial artists from 32 countries over the world to demonstrate the skills of Taekkyon, Muay, Arnis, Karatedo, Kendo, Hapkido and Capoeira.
The Vietnamese delegation includes martial artists from the Ministry of Public Security, led by instructors Le Kim Hoa and Le Ngoc Son, and from the Army team led by instructor Nguyen Dat Tue.
The festival, sponsored by the World Martial Arts Union (WoMAU) which is headquartered in the RoK, aims to present the world’s martial arts forms, including traditional ones from different countries.
Vietnam has taken part in the festival since 2000.
National judo event under way
As many as 193 judokas are competing at the National Judo Championships which kicked off in the southern province of Dong Thap on Wednesday.
Athletes, who come from 23 provinces and cities nationwide, are competing for more than 20 sets of medals.
The six-day event will last until Monday.
Sports Day for visually impaired
A sports day for visually impaired children will kick off today at Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ha Noi, with participants competing in football, chess, and a running event.
Organised by the British Embassy in Ha Noi and Nguyen Dinh Chieu School, the event is in response to the ongoing London 2012 Paralympic Games, appealing to everyone to support disability sports and create a more open and inclusive society.
The Games also aims to encourage more people with disabilities into sport at a grassroots level in order to help discover the next generation of Paralympians and demonstrate how sport can enrich the lives of everybody.
"The Embassy is honoured to be a co-organiser of this event," said Kate Harrisson, deputy head of the embassy in Ha Noi. "We want to raise people's awareness of the need to provide more support to people with disabilities in Viet Nam to enable them to integrate into the community and to access sports."
Iran face Uzbekistan in U19 final
Iran will face Uzbekistan in the final of the Southeast Asia Football Federation (AFF) Under-19 Football
Championships tomorrow at Thong Nhat Stadium, HCM City.
In the third and final round of matches yesterday, Iran beat Australia 4-1 to top the group with nine points following three consecutive wins. Australia opened the scoring in the first half through Corey Edward Brown before Iran bounced back in the second half to score four goals.
In the other final group match, Uzbekistan defeated Viet Nam 4-0 to finish second in the group with six points.
The tournament saw Australia, Iran, Uzbekistan and Viet Nam compete in a round-robin format with the top two teams advancing to the final.
Fourth-placed Viet Nam will now meet Australia in the third-place playoff.
