Thua Thien-Hue win opener

Hosts Thua Thien-Hue came from behind to defeat Song Lam Nghe An 2-1 on the opening day of the U17 National Football Championships on Wednesday.

National sports festival attracts 7,800 athletes

Over 7,800 athletes from 63 teams around the country have registered to compete in the 8th National Sports Festival, which will be held in Can Tho City from July 26 to August 12.

Hanoi has the largest number of athletes with 493, followed by Danang (478), Can Tho (467) and Ho Chi Minh City (465).
