Kazakhstan beat out Vietnam’s Saigon Beer 3-1 in the opening game and strong opponents Australia with the same score in their second match.
They maintained their winning streak, outperforming another Vietnamese team Vietsovpetro 3-1 on July 8.
Vietsovpetrol came in second after defeating Saigon Beer and Australia with the same score of 3-1.
The best volleyball player title went to Rouke Rachel of Australia, who took advantage of his height to block opponents’ attacks and score points for her team.
The event, the 8th of its kind held in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, was a great opportunity for domestic athletes to hone skills for upcoming international tournaments.

Quang Ninh, An Giang gain promotion
Two First Division clubs from Quang Ninh and An Giang provinces secured a promotion to the country's top-flight football championship, the V-League 2014, after scoring wins in last-round matches.
Quang Ninh beat Can Tho 3-0 in the last round of the First Division 2013 to finish in second place with 25 points, claiming an automatic promotion to the next V-League season.
An Giang, which defeated Quang Nam 6-4 in its last match to take third place with 24 points, was the last team to win promotion to the V-League 2014.
Quang Nam had already won a promotion after downing Quang Ninh 4-2 in the penultimate game to gain 25 points with one game in hand.
With three teams being promoted to the next season, the number of clubs in the V-League 2014 will total 14, after having fallen to 12 in 2013 due to financial difficulties.
