Binh Duong to defend title at Toyota Mekong Club tour
V.League 1 champions Becamex Binh Duong will participate in the Toyota Mekong Club Championship.
The second tournament marks a new step with the presentation of a host representative, different from the four familiar teams from Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar, with matches being held in all countries.
Representatives of Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar will compete with each other in the first stage in November. The best team will play Becamex Binh Duong in Viet Nam in the second stage. The winner will advance to the final against Thai-League Cup champions in December.
The tournament's winner will receive US$75,000.
Last year, Binh Duong beat Myanmar's Ayeyawadi 4-1 in the final.
HCM City top national champs
HCM City has won the National Youth Chess Championships, which closed in Da Lat City on July 7.

HCM City earned 22 gold medals, followed by Ha Noi and Bac Giang.
The event attracted more than 800 masters of different age groups, during competitions held from June 28-July 7.
Golfers to tee off at Montgomerie Links Club
Golfers will compete at the annual Montgomerie Links Club Championships in Quang Nam Province on August 8th, according to the organisers.
The annual tournament is held for members of Montgomerie Links as the central coast's golfing community to expand relationships.
The tournament involve an 18-hole competition with a shotgun start at around 11.30am, and a super pin contest at around 4.40pm.

PVF to play Viettel in final
PVF will play Viettel in the final of the National U17 Football Championship on July 9 at HCM City's Thong Nhat Stadium.
PVF, the defending champions, defeated Quang Ngai 3-0 in the first semi-final match on July 7 while Viettel won 3-0 over Song Lam Nghe An.
The final will be aired live on VTV3 channel.
