Viet Nam Professional Football (VPF) deputy director Pham Phu Hoa will soon resign from his post.

Hoa, who had been in charge of marketing and sponsorship of the company, will continue in his post until February 14.

"I will stop working on February 15. It is a pity, because I am really interested in football, but because of different reasons I have to make this difficult decision," said Hoa, who has worked with VPF for four years.

However, Hoa will remain a member of the Vietnam Nam Football Federation executive board.

"Maybe in the near future, when everything is ok, I will be back. Football is my great passion," said Hoa.

After leaving, Hoa said he will focus on his main business of waste treatment.

Meanwhile, VPF General Director Cao Van Chong will temporally take responsibility for Hoa's job.

Hoa's leaving will result in VPF having only one deputy director, Nguyen Minh Ngọc, who works on organising tournaments.
