HCMC-based Nha Nam Media and Publishing House will hold a spring book fair in Hanoi, Danang and HCMC for the first time as part of its annual activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

The book fair will take place from January 25 to 28 at the Cultural House in Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi while a similar event is scheduled to be held at Nha Nam Books N’ Coffee Danang at 19 Pasteur Street in Hai Chau District.

Meanwhile, book enthusiasts in HCMC can drop by Nguyen Van Binh Book Street, adjacent to two HCMC landmarks, the Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, in HCMC’s District 1 to join the event.

Budget-conscious readers can find some new short stories and novels by world-famous writers at the fair.

In addition, some books are on sale with discounts ranging from 30% to 50% while some cultural and entertainment activities such as Tarot fortunetelling and music performances are featured during the event.

The event is aimed at giving book enthusiasts an opportunity to purchase books at reduced prices, and creating a cultural event for the community in the run up to Tet holiday.
