On June 20-21, the Youth Committee of Squadron 102 of the High Command of Coast Guard Region 1 coordinated with the Youth Union, Women's Union of Xuan Pho commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province to organize the Summer Volunteer Campaign 2020 with theme "Young volunteers for the community". 

Specifically, the Youth Union of the Squadron 201 of the Coast Guard Region 1 mobilized more than 40 young officers to participate in cleaning and collecting garbage on the roads, village cultural houses; repairing, leveling and building over 5 km of road in Thong Nhat village, Xuan Pho commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province.

Previously, in order to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, the Squadron 102 cooperated with the Youth Union of Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh province) to present 300 facial masks, 100 antiseptic boxes, and 50 national flags to fishermen in Xuan Hoi commune. All funding was sponsored by Squadron 102 and Nghi Xuan District Youth Union. 

These are activities of high educational practical significance for young officials and youth union members in order to promote the volunteering spirit of young people in effectively participating in implementing the emulation movement called “Young soldiers join forces to build the new countryside”, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, maintaining political security, social order and safety in the area where the army is stationed, strengthening solidarity between the army and people.
