On the morning of July 19, at the shooting range of U Minh Battalion of Regiment 896, the Ca Mau Provincial Military Command, Squadron 42 under the High Command of Coast Guard Region 4 organized the inspection of real-bullet shooting skills using K54 pistols and AK submachine for professional officers and soldiers in the entire fleet.

The test aims at properly assessing the true nature of the training tasks of movements, the level of using infantry weapons, improving the combat readiness of professional officers and soldiers in the entire fleet, meeting the requirements and missions of the Coast Guard. 

During the inspection process, the squadron set up groups to ensure safety at the shooting range. As a result, 100% of professional officers and soldiers implemented and well observed the safety rules and shooting range regulations.

The results of the real-bullet shooting test serves as a basis for the fleet to continue to improve training quality in the future. 

Squadron 42 was formed from the Fleet 402, belonging to the Coast Guard Region 4. The establishment and launch of the Squadron 42 was an important event, marking the development and maturity of the Coast Guard forces in the southwest region in particular and the country in general.
