VietNamNet Bridge – Star Academy, a highly successful television talent show based on a Spanish format produced by Endemol, will be produced in Viet Nam by BHD under the title Hoc Vien Ngoi Sao.

This is the second project after Nguoi Dau Mat – Big Brother Viet Nam between BHD and the VTV6 channel of Vietnam Television Station (VTV). The channel is a vehicle for young talents.

Currently broadcast in more than 50 countries, Star Academy has discovered more than 100 musical talents and won the title of the most favourite television programme in many countries.

VTV6 will air 93 episodes of Hoc Vien Ngoi Sao at 7.55pm daily from mid-March.

Twelve selected contestants will gather in the same house for training under the guidance of a panel of Viet Nam's famous musicians and singers, and their daily activities will be aired daily on VTV6.

Once a week, they will show their singing capacity on a reality show broadcast live.

Contestants, aged 16 to 30, can register to take part in the show by submitting a short clip showing their music talent by March 1.
