Inspired by the majestic and beautiful natural landscape and the unique cultural features of the costumes of ethnic minorities in Ha Giang, designers created many splendid and beautiful collections, which are also very meaningful and close to the life of local people.

This was the first time the fashion show "Steps on Stone" held in Ha Giang to honor the beauty of costumes and culture; promote tourism; raise awareness for union members, youth and children in the province about the responsibility to preserve and promote the values of traditional cultural identities of ethnic groups.

This was also a professional playground for local children to promote their fashion and art performance talents to continue fostering and training human resources to serve the province's cultural and tourism development and an event helped enrich cultural and artistic activities on Nguyen Trai walking street.

According to Deputy Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Hai Duong, the "Steps on Stone" program aims to introduce traditional national costumes, preserve the value of traditional national costumes, promote Ha Giang tourism associated with the image of Dong Van Karst Plateau – an UNESCO Global Geopark, and the 5th Buckwheat Flower Festival of Ha Giang province to tourists.

The event also aims to promote pride, love, and responsibility of union members and children in building their homeland and country; create opportunities and a playground for the province's youth to show off their talent in fashion shows and performing arts.

This was also an activity that contributes to enriching the activity of "Ha Giang City’s Walking Street" in order to discover excellent factors for further training; seek human resources to serve the province's tourism and cultural development.
