A cemetery of martyrs in Hanoi's Gia Lam district, where has many remains
searched by telepathy.
Other legal methods include using war martyrs’ relics, their comrades’ evidences, etc. but not telepathy.
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs targets to determine 25,000 remains of war martyrs (around 15,000 sets of remains will be defined by genetic tests) in the 2012-2015 period and 63,000 sets of remains in 2015-2020 (50,000 sets of remains by genetic tests).
Related agencies have also agreed to not consider telepathy as a legal method to determine war martyrs. So far, thousands of war martyrs have been determined by telepathy.
At present, the remains of more than 300,000 war martyrs are buried at martyrs’ cemeteries throughout the country but they are not determined yet. There are around 200,000 sets of remains of martyrs that have not been found.
