VietNamNet Bridge – The exchange of “soul” of two girls in Ca Mau province or the “reincarnation” of a boy after his death in Hoa Binh province are among unexplainable phenomenas of reincarnation in Vietnam.

“Exchange of souls” of 19-year-old girl

Little boy Binh
There are incredible stories about reincarnation in the world in general and in Vietnam in particular, which cause headache for scientists.

The Vietnam Post newspaper on December 5, 2010, published a strange “reincarnation” story in Ca Mau province, in southern Vietnam. This story happened in 1990 in Tan Viet village, Dam Doi district.

Mr. Ca Hieu has a daughter who was sickened and died when she was 19. Around 100km from Mr. Ca Hieu’s village is Vinh My village in Bac Lieu province, where there was a girl who was sick and died at the same time with Mr. Ca Hieu’s daughter.

When the girl’s family was about to bury the unfortunate girl, she suddenly relived. However, it was very odd that the girl asked her family to bring her to Mr. Ca Hieu’s home in Tan Viet village. The girl confirmed that Mr. Ca Hieu is her father.

The girl’s family was very worried and though the she was mad. But the girl insisted to see Mr. Ca Hieu. The girl’s parents had to please their daughter. They went to Tan Viet village together to ask about Mr. Ca Hieu. When the family got out of the coach station and they were confused of the direction to Tan Viet village, the girl guided them to the village in the surprise of others. Arriving at Mr. Ca Hieu’s home, the girl ran into the house, embraced Mr. Ca Hieu. She cried and said “Dad, it’s me!”

Mr. Ca Hieu and his wife did not understand what was happening until the girl’s parents told them the strange story. At the same time, the girl walked in the house comfortably like it was her house.

Reincarnation in Hoa Binh

The above story is not the only one in Vietnam. The story about the reincarnation of a boy in Hoa Binh province in northern Vietnam stirred up the public.

Mr. Tan and his wife, Mrs. Thuan are a couple in Vu Ban town, Lac Son district. They married in 1987 and had a son in 1992, named Nguyen Phu Quyet Tien.

Unfortunately, Tien drowned when he was only five, in 1997. One day in early 2006, a boy suddenly confirmed that he is Tien.

That boy is named Binh, the son of Mr. Hoan and Mrs. Du, a Muong ethnic couple, who lived also in Vu Ban Town. Binh was born in October 2002.

Once at classroom, Binh told his teacher: “My house is over there, next to Mr. Lai’s house”. Binh’s teacher shivered because the house next to Mr. Lai’s is the home of Mr. Tan and Mrs. Thuan whose boy died several years ago.

A short time after that, once Binh’s mother beat him, the boy told his mother: “I died once, please don’t beat to dead once again!”

After that, whenever his parents scolded him, Binh asked to return home. Once Mrs. Du, Binh’s mother, was so angry and said: “Okay, get on the bike, I will take you to your house”. Strangely, Binh guided her to the home of Mr. Tan.

After that, Mr. Tan visited Binh’s home and asked the boy’s parents’ permission to take Binh to his home. At Mr. Tan’s home, Binh opened the wardrobe to look for something. Mr. Tan asked the boy what he was looking for. The boy said: “I’m looking for my aircraft and my crane.” Mr. Tan started in surprise because these were the toys of his dead son.

Binh’s grandmother, Mrs. Thin, said: “When Binh began speaking, I knew that he was not a Muong ethnic but a Kinh. He speaks King language very well, which Muong kids in this town could not.”

Binh told his mother: “I’m a Kinh, not a Muong ethnic. If you do not bring me home, I will die.” Binh’s parents allowed their son to live with Mr. Tan and Mrs. Thuan since late 2006.

This is the story about another reincarnation in Coi village in Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province.

Bui Thi Tham was born in 1991. Her mother, Mrs. Toan, said that when Tham was small, she sometimes behaved abnormally.

Once the mother and her daughter were playing together at their home, Tham, around three years old at that time, was suddenly sad and told her mother: “Please take me home.”

Another time when Tham was playing with her grandmother, she pointed at a woman and said: “That’s my mother!” That women is Nguyen Thi Nghe, who lived in the same village.

When Tham was five, once she and her parents returned home from the field, passing Mrs. Nghe’s house, Tham pointed at Mrs. Nghe’s house and told her parent: “This is my house”. Tham’s mother said: “If you like that house, I will take you in”. But while they’re getting into the house, Tham suddenly stopped and said: “I don’t like to get in there anymore. Hang is there. I hate her because she induced me to climb into a tree to make I felt and died.”

From that day, Tham’s mother linked all abnormal signals showed by her daughter and she thought that the soul of Mrs. Nghe’s son named Ly incarnated into her daughter.

The boy named Ly was dead at the age of 7. Ly’s sister, named Hang, took him to a mountain slope to pick guavas. He fell from a canvas tree, suffered from brain injury and died after that.

Bui Van Tinh, chief of Coi village, said that there are at least three reincarnation cases in his village. Tinh said that according to Muong ethnic people’s conception, kids of less than 12 who drop dead can reincarnate into someone.

Such reincarnation cases make both families confused. In almost case, the parents of “the previous incarnation” become adoptive parents of these kids.
