VietNamNet Bridge - The ancient village of Duong Lam in Son Tay district, Hanoi is creating products of straw representing Vietnam agriculture to serve tourism.

At Duong Lam ancient village, visitors will see impressive straw puppets during the harvest tour.

Dr. Nguyen Thu Hanh, Chairman of the Union of Sustainable Tourism Development Science, said the development of tourism based on available, environmentally friendly materials as in Duong Lam is a right policy.

Duong Lam has formed a “straw park”, consisting of three zones: straw fashion performances, instruction on to make straw souvenirs, and a food area.
